Who is Marija?

Marija is a world-class multi-disciplined professional fighter with a career that spans over ten years. She is a 2x World K1 Champion (Superkombat, FIBA), 1x Muay Thai European Champion (WPKC) and 1x K1 European Champion (KLeague) and has reached the peak of Muay Thai and K1. Marija is now committed to making the transition into professional boxing.

Born in Croatia, Marija has lived, trained and fought all over the world. Most notably, she spent four years in Amsterdam training at the world-famous Vos Gym House of Legends before moving to Thailand to hone her craft at the Look Yamo training camp in Nakon Ratchasima.

Marija made her professional boxing debut (as a lightweight) in November 2017 in Singapore, whilst training in Thailand. After spending 3 years in London, where trained in famous Peacocks gym under gifted coach Brian O’Shaughnessy, recently she moved to Dublin, Ireland. She is pursuing her Olympic dream and training hard with famous coach Pete Taylor, with possibility of turning professional very soon.

Marija is passionate about fighting and has shown a tireless dedication to training and improving her performance in the ring.
